Types of Origin Baskets

There are now three types of Origin Baskets independent of each other:

Supplier Origin Baskets – those are defined by each Supplier in their rate sheets. Baskets of each Suppliers are isolated from other Suppliers and belong to those Suppliers only.

Customer Origin Baskets – these baskets are defined at system level and are available for all our Customers. When editing a Customer on Customer Rates screen, we can assign certain baskets to a Customer. The list of Customer Origin Baskets can be also imported for a rate sheet into Customer Rates of a certain Customer.
However, during the rate sheet importing, the CLIs of the Customer Origin Baskets will not be updated. The Customer Origin Baskets can be shared by multiple Customers and thus you need to wisely manage the CLIs of each basket in Customer Origin Baskets screen.

Routing Origin Baskets – these baskets are used only to control routing. Using these baskets you can define a different version of a Routing Plan depending on the origin of the call. This allows you to e.g. use a different set of Suppliers for routing of calls originating from a certain country.
